Quality Affordable Transmissions

Just had to take my gmc terrain in for my transmission fluid to get changed and an oil change as well. Mickey and the staff were all great to work with. They were quick to get my car in and had it done that evening. Pricing was great and not overpriced. Two weeks later we took another vehicle to get serviced there. And again the guys there were great and very informative. They have helped us out significantly and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

The team at quality affordable transmission rebuilt a 66rfe carry out unit for my customers ram. Many shops don’t want the liability of carry out customers, but QAT had no problem rebuilding and upgrading the transmission. The truck has been running and shifting well while towing and daily driving for the last 6 months, while being cheaper than the other local shops I called. The unit was done and ready for pick-up before their estimated timeframe, and they honored the quote I was given over the phone, with no surprise extra charges. Will be using them for any transmissions in the future

This is the best mechanic shop we have ever used. They still care about their reputation and do NOT try to take advantage of you. Jeremy a Mickey are great mechanics. An are not over priced. Too many other maintenance shops are just out to take advantage of you. Mickey runs his shop on honesty. Which is rare these days. He still looks ya in the eye. A lot of other places are all about just making money. A they tell you things are wrong with your vehicle that is not wrong with it. Just recently we had our car there for service the problem was a fairly simple fix, but someone could have told us that it was a major fix a charged us a bunch of money. Mickey did not he was honest a very fair with us. We have had other work done there that was not a simple fix. A they was very honest and fair with us on the price. Will definitely be back with any of our vehicles.

Terrible quality, terrible customer service, terrible communication, terrible scheduling, and they will not stand behind their work. We dropped my son's truck off when we were instructed. They kept it for 9 weeks just to rebuild the transmission. When we picked up the truck it had shift issues. We were told it needed to be driven a few days to relearn the TCM and ECM. The problem with that is there is diagnostic software that does that immediately upon completion of the rebuild or replacement of a transmission. We took the truck back after 2 weeks with a complaint the truck stalled out and died when coming to a stop. It had very hard downshifts from 3rd to 2nd and 2nd to first gear. They kept the truck for 4 days and reported they could not duplicate the problem. In my opinion they never drove the truck to see what the complaint was. After 200 miles the engine failed and I'm not convinced the faulty transmission didn't have something to do with that. We ordered a long block from Summit Racing and when the engine was pulled it was found the torque converter was bad. This was supposed to have been replaced when it was rebuilt. Mickey swapped torque converters with me but the one he
